Yuletide Greetings!

Yuletide and Christmas and the many other holidays celebrated in this season are upon us. As is the new year... and tax season.

We aren't going to talk about that last one.

But, this is the season for gifting. People are gift-giving left and right. I like gifts, and my favorites are books. Love getting a good book for Christmas, and I don't care what format the book comes in, so long as it is paid for and the author got their cut. I read a lot of e-books these days, just because I don't have any more bookshelves. Two large and sturdy bookshelves is what I have, and we move a lot. People that do the carrying of the boxes really appreciate that I am reading more digital things.

Retailers know this is a trend and have created ways for gifting e-books. I love this so much. Quite often the digital copy of a book is so much cheaper and that makes gifting a little easier for people.

In the spirit of this, I want to share a list of some of my favorite authors and books that either I have read or plan to read when they release.

Favorites I have read:

*These are in no particular order

  • Haunted on Bourbon Street by Deanna Chase (Jade Calhoun series, still working my way through the series)

  • The Witches of Keating Hollow series also by Deanna Chase I am waiting for the next one of these to drop. Along with her other book A Witch for Mr. Holiday.

  • The All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness. I have read those a few times now and I am watching the show as it releases here in the States.

  • K. F. Breene's books. I started with her Warrior Chronicles series and I have read the Demon Days, Vampire Nights series, the Demigods of San Francisco series, and the Darkness series. I am waiting on her next Demigods of San Francisco book to release as well as something in the Demon Days, Vampire Nights world.

  • I really enjoyed the Hayle Covens series by Patti Larson

  • The Wicked Witches of the Midwest books by Amanda M. Lee are super funny and adorable.

  • The Nocturne Falls books from Kristen Painter make me happy. You can read them in any order, they are stand-alone books.

  • The Modern Witch series from Deborah Geary. It is not being continued but what is there is so fantastic and heartwarming. I have read them a few times.

Well, my husband is awake now and seems to think I should pay attention to him. Hopefully, this list helps you find a book from a great author, for yourself or for gifting.

Happy Holidays!

Rhiannon
