Social distancing in progress
We have been working at socially distancing as much as possible. My husband works in the telecommunications industry, keeping our cell phone infrastructure going. Which is great, he is good at it. But it also means he is an essential employee. I am on him to wash his hands so much because I do really worry for him. He is a smoker and more susceptible to the virus and complications from it.
For the rest of us, we are trying to stay home as much as possible. Not that difficult for me as I am a social distancing pro. If I don't have to go somewhere I am not. Staying home with my dogs and writing is the life for me. Our main problem at first was that people bought up all the toilet paper and it took me three days to manage to find a 4 pack available to carry us through until people calm down. The run on toilet paper happened right as we needed to restock that normally.
We are incredibly blessed that so far, that has been our biggest problem.
For me, 15 years ago, this would have been a major crisis without being sick. All my children were little and I worked at a fast-food place. If you are in that kind of spot right now, you have my sympathies. I remember just how hard it was trying to survive on that pay. If you want or need to talk, hit me up on facebook or twitter.
I don't remember if I have talked about the next series here or not, so here are all the updates.
I am trying to decide on a series title, I have two chosen and just need to decide between them. I have the outline done. Character sheets, finished. Plot is as finished as it gets with me. Working to get the book covers decided upon and then, pre-order for book one goes up. I hope to get the pre-order up by mid-April at the latest. I want to get the first book out in June. Before that, I will publish a box set for the Daughter of the Moon Trilogy. It may have an extended ending in it. Maybe. We'll see what happens with that. It will be clearly labeled if it is in there.
That's all I have for now. Stay safe and wash your hands.
